《AFS交流獎助金計劃座談會》- 跨越國界交流‧另類學習體驗

 

為迎接「三三四」新高中學制的改革，同學們有需要培養廣闊的國際視野，並透過不同的經歷提昇通識學習能力，從而為成長與未來發展作好準備。為此，本校與AFS國際文化交流合辦《AFS交流獎助金計劃》，誠邀家長及學生參加。

 

AFS是一個逾60年歷史的非牟利國際性交流團體，以推廣全球文化交流為宗旨。為鼓勵青少年透過《一年海外交流計劃》，往外地交流體驗促進個人成長，特設獎助金計劃，讓家庭經濟有困難的交流生申請，以支付全期計劃費用。對海外交流有興趣的家長與同學可聯絡校務處，瞭解有關詳情。

 

以下為本年度透過該計劃於本校就讀的兩位交流生的資料:

Through the AFS Intercultural Exchange Programme, our school has accepted two overseas exchange students in 2011-2012, Olafsdotiik Helga Kristin from Iceland and Reynders Goele from Belgium. They are now studying in our F.5 classes. Several parents of our students volunteered to host the exchange students and our school selected two families among all to be the host families. Two F.3 students volunteered to be the host sisters of them. Through intercultural learning programmes, all students and teachers have the opportunity to acquire the skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to contribute significantly in a culturally diverse and increasingly interdependent world.
